Charles had a distinguished and extensive playing and coaching career in both UK and Europe spanning 37 years. He played professionally at Cambridge United soccer club in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd divisions in England (now the coca cola championships league 1, 2, 3). Charles also was loaned to Coventry City, Luton Town, and other including Oxford (Coach Sir Bobby Morre 1966 World Cup Winner). His playing honors included 3 back to back promotions at Cambridge Utd as well as winning the East Anglian cup 3 times and being crowned Football combination champions 3 times.
 
Charles coached professionally at Banbury Utd, Bicester Town and Oxford City. He also worked for a while at the FA Football Association HQ, Coaching nationally both physically and mentally impaired children and teenagers. He has coached in several countries with players as young as three. Charles finished his UK coaching experience with Oxford Utd AFC U19s.
 
 He has been in Savannah for five years and worked with several entities in town experiencing much success. He is the Head Soccer Coach for Varsity Boys at St. Andrews here in Savannah. His record is outstanding! He has been to the Regional’s several times and lead the team to winning the State Play offs in 2010.Charles worked as the recreation and community officer with CGSA U/12-U/19 as well as assisting with the U/6 – U/8 and U/10 program. Charles has also undertaken work with camps/ clinics in the area.
 
Coaching honors included, Oxon county cup winners twice Banbury Utd, and once each with Witney and Bicester Town. U21s Senior league winners 4 times with Banbury Utd and once with Bicester Town.
 
Coaching qualifications are FA Level 1 FA Level 2 certificates, RFU (Rugby Football Union) Coach. Technical Coaching Qualification University of Southampton UEFA C. NSCAA National Diploma.
Charles also obtained a business degree at Oxford Brooks University and a Sports Psychology degree at Cambridge Business University. Overall coaching record 438-45-25
