ELITE CAMP A HUGE SUCCESS!!
The first Elite Camp in Savannah, July 11th -15th was a huge success according to camp director,Gary Wright. There were over 90 high level players that attended the week long camp, some coming from as far as Singapore!! The camp coaching staff was of the highest level possible and included John Rootes and Andy Williamson, Head college coaches of the SCAD mens and womans program respectivle. Both their assistants, Rob Weisel and Rebecca Witters and also Darren Bloodworth, a Uefa 'A' license coach who works for Chelsea F.C. Camp Director Gary Wright said "when players and coaches wish the camp could continue at the end of the week, you know something has gone right!" The camp will run for the second year the week of July 10th through 14th, 2006.

Recreation
Camps
We will
be holding recreation camps throughout the summer to
cover all ages. These camps are designed around
improving the soccer skills for our recreational players.
Message
From The Director
"The
goal for our camps is for all ages and levels of players
to come and enjoy themselves, while working hard on
their soccer skills. If our participants take
something away from the camp, whether it be a new-found
confidence or a new skill to beat an opponent, then
the camp has been a success!
This is
why the Professional Coaching Staff is chosen carefully
as to enable different coaching methods and skills
to be taught along with different personalities, for
the development and enjoyment of the player."
We know our players and
coaches.
A coach or Parent can approach
our staff on any specific needs regarding player development,
and because we know the player well, we can often get
the best from the player (players like to feel comfortable
in a fun learning environment)
CGSA
Camp Programs & Clinics
We teach
our players skills for life, such as character, respect
of the game, the officials and opponents. We work on
seeking excellence through sportsmanship. Skills, character
and development can be monitored with an on-going process
long after the camp program has finished and throughout
the seasons ahead. In addition to our summer
camp program, CGSA now provides on-going individual
and group clinics throughout the year. For more
details about these clinics, contact Gary Wright at
691-2472.
